Food Truck Thursdays!

This Thursday is the first week of Food Truck Thursdays in Miller Park!

The participating trucks are:

Taco Shark Food Truck: Their menu changes daily, but you are guaranteed to find a delicious option you'll love! You can usualy find pulled pork, chorizo, ground beef, and at least one or two vegeterian options.

Canopy Food Truck: Not sure what they'll be offering on Thursday, but they typically have a intriguing menu that you can order in on a salad, rice, or flatbread. The owners of this truck also own Crisp (check out our review if you haven't already!).
Pok-e-Joe's BBQ : They have a restaurant located next to the Boonesboro Food Lion. I'm not sure what their truck offers, but it's a good bet that it will all be delicious.

Cheesy Rider: Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Soup. Yum!

Maylynn's Creamery: Save room for dessert! They have soft serve ice cream and all the toppings, seriously, ALL the toppings. They also have a trailer in the Boonsboro Food Lion parking lot.

Tables and chairs will be provided. Parking is available at the Miller Center and by the Miller Park Pool.

It is supposed to be around 80 degrees- a perfect day to get outside and enjoy some local food!

We'd love to hear your thoughts about this event! Post your comments below or our on our FB page. We will definitely share ours so watch out for it!

Also- don't forget to enter our contest! Win a $10 gift card to your favorite coffee shop! Details can be found on our facebook page.

Crisp: Salads, Soup and Juice Bar

If you haven't visited Crisp on Church Street downtown, you should probably go do that, like now.

Crisp can be found in the Allied Arts building and with the unique stained glass windows out front, it's hard to miss.

It may be a small spot, but they've got a lot going on inside! Their salad menu includes the classic choices such as Cobb, Caesar, Greek, but you can also choose from some adventurous choices or make your own. The salads are made in front of you and there are a ton of add-ins and homemade dressings to choose so you definitely won't leave with a boring salad! Soup is on the menu as well, they had 3 different types available when we went. Sarah got a cup of chicken soup and said it was delicious!

The foot traffic alone showed that this place is a popular spot for the downtown crowd, but we drove and found close parking spots. They expanded their hours and are open until 8pm, so you can grab and go for lunch and dinner! The consensus amongst our group of five was that everything was tasty and fresh! Even for people that wouldn't normally choose a salad as their main dish(ahem... you know who you are), they agreed that it was good!

We didn't get any juice so we can't give a review- but would love to hear from you all! If you've tried their juice, or anything else on the Crisp menu, let us know how it was!
